Drishti is a focusing technique, which brings awareness, concentration and confidence to your practice.

Nava Drishti’s - 9 gazing points:

  • Nasagrai - the primary focal gaze -

the space just beyond the tip of the nose

  • Ajna Chakra - space between the eyebrows

(Purvottanasana/intense east stretch)

  • Manipura Chakra/Nabi Chakra - navel center

(Adho Mukha Svanasana/downward facing dog)

  • Hastagrai - hand (Trikonasana/triangle)

  • Padhayoragrai - toes (Sarvangasana/shoulderstand)

  • Parshva - far to the right

(Supta Padangusthasana/reclining big toe posture)

  • Parshva - far to the left (Marichyasana)

  • Angushtha Ma Dyai - thumbs (Virabhadrasana A/Warrior I)

  • Samadrishti - seeing forward
